The "driving program" described below, is an example of just one of these unconscious programs. It is illustrative of how things can be linked and cause problems for us.

When you pick up your keys to go somewhere in your car, this "driving program kicks in," and you do not have to consciously think about how to open the car door, how to get in, how to close the door, where to put the key, how to make it go, how to make it stop, etc. Think about when you first learned how to operate the car, and you did have to be conscious of learning all these things, and more. Now, it is a stored unconscious program, that you do not have to consciously think about.


Now, take it a step further:  Imagine if, when you pick up the keys and the "driving program" kicks in, you also have an "anxiety" or "panic attack program" that kicks in... and perhaps, even flashes (memories, sights, sounds) of a previous car accident. These flashes of information can happen so fast, you don't even consciously register them, but still you receive the information as stress chemicals, stress signals in your body. This is a stored past memory, an unconscious program that is just trying to "keep you safe." 


This could produce a stressed state in your body every time you even think about driving, or keys, or cars, or going anywhere. Each time this happens, it could add to your accumulated unconscious resources (proofs) of anxiety, and sends an unconscious message that "driving is not safe." Maybe you are not even aware this is occurring, you just know, you don't want to go anywhere, or you just avoid the car altogether. From there, adaptive thoughts and behaviors will happen, and you will find a way to deal with it, alter it, or avoid it. Over time, depending, this can lead to physical problems, mental-emotional problems, and more, affecting the quality of your life.

This is just one example of the millions of stored unconscious experiences, e.g., proofs/programs/resources/references/memories, and the infinite ways, our unconscious mind links things together, how they can interact, and affect different areas of our lives.
